We congratulate FAN Executive Director Linda Davis on being named a Notable Leader in Health Care by Crain's Detroit Business.
Scope of work: Davis became executive director in 2019 after helping establish Face Addiction Now in 2007. She has overseen the organization’s statewide growth to 80 staff, a $5 million annual budget, nearly 20 chapters and partnerships with over 150 law enforcement agencies and several health care systems.
Biggest professional win: Davis identifies FAN’s biggest achievement as transforming how institutions respond to substance use disorder, expanding recovery-focused approaches and helping more than 100,000 people access services.
Other contributions: Davis is a member of the state Legislature’s Opioid Advisory Commission, is a member of multiple prescription drug task forces and founded FAN’s Hope Not Handcuffs program as well as Operation RX Macomb County.
