
Dr. Lyn Conlon moved to Traverse City in 1998 after completing her residency in psychiatry at Sheppard Enoch Pratt Hospital in Baltimore, MD. She also served as the outpatient chief resident and a psychiatric consultant for Emergency Psychiatry Associates. Upon relocating to Traverse City, Dr. Conlon launched her private practice and began working as a staff psychiatrist at Community Mental Health and Munson Medical Center, where she later became the medical director of the inpatient psychiatric unit.
In 2009, Dr. Conlon became the medical director at the Lighthouse Neurological Rehabilitation Center. She is also an associate professor at Michigan State University, where she teaches both family practice and psychiatry. With 28 years of experience as a psychiatrist, Dr. Conlon has held multiple leadership roles in professional associations and committees, including with Face Addiction Now and the Grand Traverse County Drug Free Coalition.
Dr. Conlon is committed to her community and her profession, having received numerous honors and awards. She has published work and delivered numerous educational talks to both professionals and the public on mental health and substance use. Dr. Conlon is dedicated to being a proactive voice for education and change in the field.
