Jim Keel earned his Bachelor of Arts from Western Michigan University in 2007, majoring in criminal justice and psychology with a minor in sociology. He is a Certified Drug Counselor (CADC) and a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS-DP) through the Michigan Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP). Jim currently serves as Program Coordinator at the House of Commons, a residential facility operated through the Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties. Over the past 15 years, he has worked with both youth and adults in residential and outpatient settings.
Jim is married with one daughter and is a lifelong animal lover—currently sharing his home with a German Shepherd and three rescue cats. (Every visit to Ingham County Animal Control seems to result in a new feline family member!) He is proud to serve as a board member of Face Addiction Now.
