Kyle began his career with the Ionia County Prosecutor’s Office in 2007 and was elected prosecutor in 2016. Throughout his time in the criminal justice system, he has consistently encountered the effects of substance use on individuals, families, and the community. He has observed how substance-related challenges often play a role in various types of criminal behavior—even in cases that are not directly tied to drug charges.
Kyle has worked closely with Ionia’s specialty courts, including a program designed to support individuals with recurring legal issues tied to substance use. Motivated by what he continues to see in the courtroom, Kyle is proud to partner with Families Against Narcotics to help connect people to resources and to offer guidance for families navigating these difficult circumstances.
