Wendy Lenon (DNP, RN) is the chair of the School of Nursing at Ferris State University. She has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Valley State University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Ferris State University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University.

Wendy’s nursing background includes roles in trauma, orthopedics, medical/surgical care, emergency departments, surgical services, leadership, and education. She is dedicated to applying her experience in ways that contribute to improved care and community health.

Outside of work, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family and loves boating, camping, traveling, and skiing. She also contributes her time as a board member for Families Against Narcotics.
