Director
Judge Jocelyn Fabry

Jocelyn Fabry serves as the Chief Judge for the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. In addition to her core judicial duties, she oversees both the Gwaiak Miicon and family wellness courts. Judge Fabry also contributes her expertise on several committees and advisory boards, including the Michigan Association of Treatment Court Professionals (as secretary) and the Michigan Tribal State Federal Judicial Forum (as co-chair). She played a key role in the development of her Tribe’s Tribal Action Plan—a long-term strategy to address substance use challenges.

Through her work on the bench and in the community, Judge Fabry has seen firsthand how substance use can impact not only individuals, but also their families and surrounding networks. As a member of FAN, she is committed to helping others better understand the issue and to encouraging efforts that make support and resources more accessible for those seeking to make lasting changes.
