A pastor’s son, Todd was born in Michigan and has lived in various parts of the Midwest. He graduated from Milford High School in 1993 and later earned a Bachelor's degree in Education from Taylor University, working as a teacher and basketball coach for several years. He eventually returned to school to earn a Master's in Ministerial Leadership and has spent the past 12+ years serving as a senior pastor in two churches. Todd has led Bancroft Congregational Church since 2016 and is currently pursuing a Master's in Practical Theology.
Over the last 12 years, he has also served as a law enforcement chaplain for three departments. He currently holds that role with the Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office, providing pastoral care to officers and their families. In addition, he oversees church security training and consultation efforts in the county.
Todd holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Cha Yun Do and serves as chief instructor for David’s Warriors. He is also a board member for the Christian Martial Arts Fellowship, which oversees the art of Cha Yun Do.
His experiences with law enforcement and personal family challenges have shaped his commitment to addressing addiction-related issues and human trafficking—two areas he believes are closely connected and in need of continued attention.
